red clear gameboy

today i decided to give the kitsch-bent case a red clear inside coating.
the paint didnt respond very well to the case, which made it hard to paint.
i still like how it turned out, even though the green backlight and blue led dont fit the design so good anymore.
i will change it to red backlight and red led some time soon.

would look better with red backlight ?

if you want to paint one of the kitsch-bent clear cases yourself i would advice you to make the first 3 layers as thin as possible because the surface doesnt respond very well to clear coloured paints.
